NHS completes teacher appreciation week
Teacher appreciation week occured Oct. 12-17. NHS members have spent two weeks planning for it.
“The themes for the days are what we have traditionally used in years’ past. We are working on coming up with new ideas for next year,” sponsor Kathy Stotts said.
COVID has taken a toll.
“We weren’t able to hold staff appreciation week last year due to the school closure, so we will have it twice this year,” Stotts said.
Monday teachers received muffins or treats. Tuesday teachers received cards from students. Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday teachers got cards, plants, and office supplies.
“I really enjoy teacher appreciation week,” business teacher Amanda Graser said.
