Varsity football beats Troy 57-28
In the Vikings’ first football home game they won against Troy 57-28 behind a strong ground game.
Running back Dane Mohrmann picked up four touchdowns before the end of the first half. Quarterback Alex Pipes had a solid performance, throwing a 35 yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Quincy Morris in the first quarter, as well as an 11 yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Jackson Hetzel in the second quarter. Morris returned a kickoff for a touchdown in the third quarter.
The Vikings are currently 3-1 as of Oct. 2nd.
