“Close to Me” Single Review

Ellie Goulding returns from her big breaks and comes together with Swae Lee and Diplo to create sweet single “Close to Me” which was released in October.

Goulding sings, “I don’t want to be somebody without your body close to me” in the chorus to explain the message of the song. The song is basically about the connection between two people and how wild they are for each other.

It’s sound is satisfying, upbeat, fun and lyrics catchy. It’s music isn’t too overwhelming as can sometimes be if produced by an artist whose genre is dance like Diplo.

It’s pretty hard to imagine Ellie Goulding, pop, and Swae Lee, rap,  in the same song, but they actually match together perfectly in this new single.
