Placed sixth in Best of Show, 2017-2018 yearbook staff enjoy cake to celebrate the accomplishment. The Best of Show competition is sponsored by the National Scholastic Press Association and is held at all of the association’s national conventions every year. The convention the staff attended was in Chicago, Illinois on Oct. 31 through Nov. 3. “It was important for us to place sixth in Best of Show because it reflects all of our hard work,” senior Sydney Taylor said, “Although we had some obstacles last year, this proves that determination and a strong work ethic pay off.”
