Boys varsity soccer won the GAC Conference undefeated with a 15-4-1 record on the entire season.

“Winning GACs definitely gives us a boost going into the postseason because everything is starting to click and we’re all playing well with each other,” junior Matt Peters said.

Peters is a starting midfielder who has played on the varsity team since freshman year.

“Our hardest competition was probably Howell Central because they have many skilled players and good coaching,” Peters said.

The Vikings defeated the Spartans the first time they played them in the conference 2-1 in penalty kicks.

“We know it’s not just going to be handed to us, so we go into each game knowing that we are going to get their best and they’re going to get ours,” Peters said.

The Vikings are graduating four seniors after this season: defender Eric Radle, forward Jake Totty, midfielder/defender Will Clayton, and midfielder/defender Caden Castello.
“The seniors this year have been incredible leaders out on the field,” Peters said, “I can definitely say they are a huge part of how well we are doing this season.”
