Dance Mom Headed to Jail

Recently, Abby Lee Miller, the coach on the Lifetime show Dance Moms, was found guilty of bankruptcy fraud. She pleaded guilty to concealing more than $700,000 in earnings from the Lifetime reality television show.

Reflecting on Miller’s decisions, senior Olivia Besgrove explains that “she deserves to go to jail, and will definitely hurt the show’s reputation as well as her former students.”

Miller is currently serving one year in the FCI Victorville facility in Victorville, California. After her time, Miller will be attending two years of community service along with paying a $40,000 fine.
