Up on the big stage, freshman ballet dancer Sara Stiens competed in the Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation’s 6th Annual St. Louis Teen Talent Competition, March 6. As part of the St. Louis Ballet School group “Little Fugue,” Stiens, along with four other girls from local high schools, advanced to the final round and will perform April 23 at the Fabulous Fox Theater for the top prize. The winner of the talent competition receives a $7,000 scholarship.

The final round will include 12 acts, with a total of 22 students. Tickets for the event are free and available through Metrotix and at the Fox Theater box office. The competition includes an Audience Choice Award, based on loudness, so come out at support a fellow Viking, April 23 at the Fox.
