Beside the golden palm trees and in front of the Taj Mahal, homecoming attendees danced in the commons which student council transformed into an Arabian night under the stars.

“The theme this year was lit, much better than the past two years I went.” junior Halle Hunter said.

This year Student Council sold over 1,200 tickets. So many were sold that they had to print out more tickets the third day into selling.

“All the hard work payed off, the creativity was clearly visible and I’m sad to end the planning of it.” junior Kennedy Cooper and student council treasurer said.

The students spent twenty plus hours during homecoming week, putting together the decorations, and placing the finishing touches.

“STUCO is worth all the time, it’s awesome to see everything all put together at the dance.” junior Alyssa Kohrs said. “I feel accomplished in the end.”
