Outside of Howell- Patriots Deflate Footballs

The New England Patriots are being accused of under inflating their game balls for the AFC championship game they won against the Colts. The NFL has released that 11 of the 12 game footballs used by the Patriots were under the minimum requirement by 2 pounds per square inch. Using a deflated football has its advantages, including: more grip for the quarterback, more grip during weather conditions, and more grip for the receivers to catch with as well. There is really no disadvantages to using a underinflated football. In my opinion the Patriots won the game 45-7 and the ball having 2 more psi wouldn’t cause the Colts to win. If it was a closer points deficit then it would be a way bigger deal. Another opinion of mine is the quarterback should be able to change the psi in the ball he is throwing, it should be up to him.
